University of Chicago Graduate Housing

Congratulations on choosing the University of Chicago.  A booklet was assembled by the Division of the Biological Sciences (BSD) Office of Graduate Affairs and the Dean's Council, a committee of graduate students representing every degree granting unit.  We hope the information contained here will help you with what will undoubtedly be one of the first things you need to do in Chicago to find housing.

There is a website for housing information

The University of Chicago also has a new website that will provide you with additional housing information: http://apartments.uchicago.edu.

The University owns over 25 buildings in Hyde Park and rents apartments to students at prices comparable to local realtors.  If you are interested in the University housing options, you should apply AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
