Summer Research Program

APPLICATION  PROCEDURE 

To apply, please submit all following materials together in one packet to the Office of Graduate Affairs :

  1. There are two formats for the application form.  One is a Word Document that can be entered and saved as a different name.  The other is a PDF form for those who have browsers that do not support the online entry. 
    • Clickable form:  Click the form open, make entries by tabbing over to each field; save as Summer application with your name attached, e.g. SummerResearch John Smith.  Open your completed form in Word and Print.  The recommendation form is page 3 of the application.
    • PDF form:  Print and manually enter information.
  2. A statement of purpose describing your previous research experience and proposed area of  interest;
  3. Two letters of recommendation (form enclosed with application) from faculty members who are well acquainted with your scientific work;
  4. An official undergraduate transcript.


All materials must be submitted at the same time, no later than March 3, 2009.

Review of applications will start in February,
so early submission is encouraged.
