GRADUATE EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
Participants in the Summer Research Training Program attend weekly workshops and dinners sponsored by the University of Chicago Biological Sciences Division and The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Summer Program. These workshops, led by faculty members, focus on practical issues concerning graduate studies and careers, such as how to get into graduate schools, areas of research, etc. In addition, participants can attend lab meetings, journal clubs, or seminars scheduled by a mentor laboratory or department.
