Summer Research Program

LABORATORY EXPERIENCE

The BSD has 22 biological science departments, as listed the page 2 of the application, offering a broad range of research areas.  Students undertake research projects under the guidance and mentorship of BSD faculty members, matched on the basis of the student's educational and laboratory experiences as well as mutual interests.   Furthermore, students work in first-rate facilities with the latest equipment and participate in cutting-edge research.

Previous projects include:

  • Examining the interactions between cyclophilin B and the somatolactogenic hormones
  • Purification of Anthrax Toxin and its Role in the Pathogenicity of the Gastrointestinal Tract
